Stony Brook, Carter Moriah trails

Met up with MEB this morning for a hike to Mt Moriah. This summit was #575 on her quest to complete the Grid (hiking all NH48 peaks in each month of the year). Warm temps had me in shorts and MEB wishing she was.

With a small group hiking here a day earlier following the trail to the summit was easy, although it did go through a few areas that were more like a bushwhack than trail.

Along the way we met up with another small group, Chickety, Lefty and their friends. We shared the summit with them enjoying the great views and sunshine.

Directions to Trailhead
From Gorham, NH head South on Rte 16 for @ 2 miles. Just after crossing the Peabody River there is a parking lot on the left.
