A snowy day for our hike to Mt Garfield with Jeff, Diane, Emily, Mike, and Mark. Deep unbroken snow that had fallen over night made for slow going as we eventually split into two groups on our way to the summit.

Just below the summit we re-grouped for the final push in the wind driven snow that made for quick summit photos before a hastey descent.

Directions to Trailhead
Rte 93 north to Exit 35. Follow Route 3 east 4.9 miles. Turn into the parking area on the right just before the bridge over the Gale River.
